A quick and easy Halloween punch made with fruit juices and ginger ale, topped with dry ice for a spooky fog effect. Perfect for parties and kid-approved.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups orange juice
  • 4 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 cups lemonade
  • 2 cups limeade
  • 4 cups ginger ale
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 small block food-grade dry ice
  • Gummy worms (for garnish)
  • Plastic spiders or eyeballs (optional)
  • Orange slices (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • Ice cubes with frozen gummy worms inside (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill all ingredients beforehand (at least 2 hours).
  2. In a punch bowl or large pitcher, combine orange juice, pineapple juice, lemonade, and limeade. Stir gently.
  3. Add cold water and stir again. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for up to 4 hours to meld flavors.
  5. Just before serving, add ginger ale and stir gently to preserve fizz.
  6. Using tongs and gloves, break dry ice into golf ball-sized chunks by wrapping in a towel and tapping with a hammer.
  7. Carefully drop dry ice chunks into the punch bowl using tongs. Do not touch with bare hands.
  8. Add gummy worms and optional plastic spiders or eyeballs on top.
  9. Serve immediately, ladling into cups. Warn guests not to drink dry ice chunks. Dry ice will dissolve in 15-20 minutes.

Notes

Dry ice is safe in beverages if handled properly. Never touch dry ice with bare hands. Keep a separate pitcher of punch without dry ice for young children. For longer fog effect, add dry ice in stages every 10-15 minutes. Leftover punch can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; add fresh ginger ale before serving again.
