Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz aged sharp cheddar, sliced into thin triangles
  • 8 oz brie, whole wheel
  • 4 oz goat cheese log, sliced into rounds
  • 6 oz manchego, cut into thin wedges
  • 6 oz prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 6 oz salami, sliced into thin rounds
  • 4 oz soppressata, sliced
  • 68 fresh figs, halved
  • 1 large Honeycrisp apple, sliced thin
  • ½ cup dried apricots
  • ⅓ cup fig preserves
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ cup spiced pecans
  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds, toasted
  • 2025 crackers (mix of water crackers and rosemary-flavored)
  • 1 small baguette, sliced and toasted
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • ¼ cup pomegranate seeds (optional)
  • Flaky sea salt (e.g., Maldon) for finishing

Instructions

  1. Take cheeses out of fridge 30 minutes before serving. Slice apple and toss with lemon juice to prevent browning. Halve figs, slice baguette, and arrange ingredients on a tray. Toast baguette slices at 350°F for 8-10 minutes until golden.
  2. Place small bowls of fig preserves, honey, and pumpkin seeds on the board, spaced out as anchor points. Place brie wheel near center and goat cheese rounds in a small cluster.
  3. Fan out cheddar triangles in one section and manchego wedges in another, slightly overlapping. Keep space between different cheese types.
  4. Fold prosciutto into loose ribbons or rosettes. Arrange salami and soppressata slices in overlapping rows or small piles around the board.
  5. Tuck fig halves and apple slices into empty spaces. Scatter dried apricots and spiced pecans in small clusters. Place crackers and baguette slices around edges, standing them up slightly. Sprinkle pomegranate seeds over everything.
  6. Lay rosemary sprigs across the board. Drizzle honey over brie and goat cheese. Sprinkle flaky sea salt over apples and figs. Leave about 10-15% empty space for easy access.

Notes

Prep all ingredients before arranging. Let cheese come to room temperature for best flavor. Leave 10-15% empty space on board for easy access. Keep backup ingredients in kitchen to refill as needed. For gluten-free, skip baguette and crackers and use rice crackers, cucumber slices, or apple chips. For vegetarian, omit meats and double up on cheeses.
