These elegant mini lobster roll sliders are a perfect bite-sized treat for cocktail parties, combining tender lobster meat with buttery toasted brioche buns and a light, zesty mayo dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh lobster meat, cooked and roughly chopped (preferably claw and knuckle meat)
  • 12 mini brioche slider buns
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (use good quality like Hellmann’s or Duke’s)
  • 1 medium celery stalk, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dill, finely chopped (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Pinch of Old Bay seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the lobster meat by removing from cooked tails or claws and roughly chopping into ½ inch chunks.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, diced celery, chopped chives, dill, and Old Bay seasoning if using. Gently fold in lobster meat, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Slice mini brioche buns horizontally, keeping them attached if possible. Toast buns cut-side down in butter until golden and slightly crisp, about 1–2 minutes.
  4. Spoon the lobster mixture generously onto the bottom half of each toasted bun. Press the top bun gently on and arrange sliders on a serving platter. Garnish with extra chives or lemon wedges if desired.
  5. Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.

Notes

Toast buns just before serving to keep them crisp. Use a gentle hand when folding lobster to maintain chunkiness. For gluten-free, substitute buns with gluten-free slider rolls. Mayo can be swapped with Greek yogurt or vegan mayo for dietary preferences. Prepare lobster salad up to 4 hours ahead and keep chilled.
