A quick and easy overnight oats recipe that combines cream cheese and fresh strawberries for a creamy, cheesecake-flavored breakfast with a crunchy graham cracker topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (45g) old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk of choice (unsweetened almond milk recommended)
  • 1/4 cup (60g) plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) softened cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup (75g) fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • 1/4 cup (30g) crushed graham crackers
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes or microwave for 10 seconds without melting.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in rolled oats and a pinch of salt until all oats are coated with the creamy mixture.
  4. Chop fresh strawberries into bite-size pieces; optionally mash half to release juices.
  5. Fold chopped and mashed strawberries gently into the oat mixture.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a jar or container, cover tightly, and refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours.
  7. Before serving, sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top for crunch.
  8. Optional: Garnish with fresh strawberry slices or a light dusting of lemon zest.

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese and Greek yogurt for best creaminess. Add graham cracker crumble just before serving to keep it crunchy. If oats are too thick in the morning, stir in a splash of milk; if too thin, add a spoonful of Greek yogurt. Frozen strawberries can be used if thawed and drained. Store leftovers up to 3 days refrigerated.
