Crispy, creamy, and spicy air fryer bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers that disappear in minutes. Perfect for game day, parties, or a quick snack, with perfectly crispy bacon and melty cream cheese filling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1012 medium jalapeno peppers (about 34 inches long)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1012 slices thin-cut bacon
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional: ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing for dipping

Instructions

  1. Wash jalapenos thoroughly and pat dry with paper towels. Slice each in half lengthwise. Use a small spoon to scrape out seeds and white membranes (remove all for milder poppers, leave some for extra heat). Wear gloves if sensitive.
  2. In a small bowl, combine softened cream cheese and garlic powder. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Using a butter knife or small spatula, fill each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture. Fill flush with the top of the pepper, not overflowing.
  4. Take a slice of bacon and wrap it tightly around each stuffed jalapeno half, starting at one end and overlapping slightly. Tuck the ends of the bacon underneath the popper to secure.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 380°F for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Place bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers in the air fryer basket in a single layer, seam side down, ensuring they are not touching. Work in batches if necessary.
  7. Air fry at 380°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Check at 8 minutes; bacon should be golden brown and crispy, cream cheese bubbly. Add 1-2 minutes if needed.
  8. Let poppers cool in the basket for 2-3 minutes. Use tongs to transfer to a serving platter.
  9. Serve immediately with ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce. Best eaten within 10 minutes.

Notes

Use thin-cut bacon for best results; thick-cut bacon will not crisp properly. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. For dairy-free, use dairy-free cream cheese. For milder poppers, use mini sweet peppers instead of jalapenos. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes. Uncooked poppers can be frozen for up to 2 months.
