A quick and easy crowd-pleasing dip combining crispy bacon, creamy ranch, and melty cheese for a flavorful and comforting snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 strips bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (full-fat recommended)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup ranch dressing (homemade or bottled)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (sharp or medium)
  • 2 stalks green onions, thinly sliced
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: pinch of crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes, flipping occasionally. Drain on paper towels and crumble into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes if not already softened.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth using a hand mixer or whisk.
  4. Add sour cream and ranch dressing to the cream cheese and mix until fully combined and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  6. Gently fold in shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon (reserve some for topping), and green onions until evenly distributed.
  7. Cover and refrigerate the dip for at least 1 hour to let flavors meld and the dip thicken.
  8. Before serving, sprinkle reserved bacon and extra green onions on top. Serve with chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.
